Academy Monitoring Committees
Each academy within Infinity has an Academy Monitoring Committee (unless schools were federated when they joined the Trust). The AMC is made up of Governance volunteers called "Academy Champions". The Academy Champions are members of the local community, parents and in Church School members of the clergy.
The primary function of the AMC is to work collectively with the Trust Central Team to monitor the performance of the academy. Their activities focus on seeking views, monitoring impact and building relationships with stakeholders across the school.
AMC's are supported through regular training sessions and through key documentation to effectively carry out their work with schools.
The Chairs committee is made up of the Chairs from all the AMC’s and it meets regularly with the CEO, Chair of Trustees and Governance Officer to reflect on the progress of each school and identify any further areas for support or monitoring.
