What a lovely way to spend a Friday evening. Thank you so much to everyone who helped, organised and joined us on Friday for our annual Summer Fair. The weather was kind to us and every where you looked were smiley faces and people have fun. I need to say a huge THANK YOU to our lovely FSA people who have been quietly organising behind the scenes for months to make sure everything was just right. They have been in school this morning counting the money raised and have a fantastic total of £2,000! This money will be used to buy extra special resources for your children next year. Very well done everyone and a special thank you to Mrs Roberts who is the Chair of the Friends Association and who has had several sleepless nights before last Friday!

Fastest Clear Lap Time: Tilly Shaw - 34.62 seconds (no penalty points)
Most Consistent Driver: James Sadler - 3 lap times under 39 seconds (only 1 penalty point over 3 laps)
A team of our Year 3 and 4 children entered the Grantham Golf Competition.
They were amazing! We had no expectations of doing well at all but they came a fantastic 2nd!
Very well done and thank you Mr Wells for coaching them and taking them to the competition.
Our boys went to the Grantham School's Kwik Cricket Competition at Grantham Cricket Club.
They played 5 games and won 4 of them!
As always we are proud of their determination, competitive spirit and sportsmanship. They were great fun to be with and had a fantastic day.
We are very excited about our live eggs hatching in to chicks.
They were all eggs on Tuesday, started hatching on Wednesday and all hatched apart from 2 eggs by Thursday.
By the following Tuesday they were being weighed, measured and cuddled - all really important aspects of Science!
Our Year 5 & 6 girls went to the annual Grantham School's Kwik Cricket Competition. The sun shone, the girls were determined and skilful and they came a fantastic 3rd! As always they were an absolute pleasure to be with and we are all very proud of them.
Our tag rugby team, led by Mr Heathcote had great fun and showed real determination yesterday. We played 7 games; we won 4 and lost 3. As always we are proud of the team's hard work, good humour and sporting play.

Our Hockey Team, led by Mrs Briggs competed in yesterday's annual Newark Hockey Tournament - The Sam White Tournament.
We won all of our Pool matches; we won our quarter final match; we won our semi-final match; we won the final beating John Hunt Junior School 5 - 0.
The team were fantastic - it was a long afternoon and the children were an absolute pleasure to be with.
Very well done - as always we are very proud of you.
We are really proud of Holly and Rossi who have gained their bronze, silver, gold and Champion certificates in the Sports Legacy Challenge.
