Museum Grand Opening!!!
In January Mrs King asked me if we could build a Museum in school.
I gathered together an elite team of fellow historains made up of children from year 3- 6. We have been meeting once a week in our lunchtimes to create our musuem and today it was officially opened by Mrs King.
The children have worked extremley hard on creating this fantastic space and will now be on duty in the museum every lunchtime to give guided tours to their peers.
A massive thank you goes out to Mrs Ede who has made our mueum signs which look fabulous.
I’m so proud of my History club they have worked extremely hard and our museum looks amazing! They were all rewared in assembly for their hard work with a History badge!

There is a fantastic new campaign from Churchill to get sponsored lollipop crossing helpers into areas where crossing the road is dangerous for children and families.
If you go to this link, nominate our school and encourage others to do so, it could be us!
There is a fabulous article about our Sports Relief fundraising on The Grantham Journal website. Access it via this link:

The STA (Standards and Testing Agency) have produced a short leaflet for parents to give some information about the new-look SATs testing that will be happening this May.
You will find the leaflet under the menu heading 'How to help your child at home'. We hope it might be useful to parents of Y2 and Y6 children.
We have posted an Easter message from the Bishop of Lincoln into the 'Letters' section of the website.
Many Thanks.
We have received a number of complaints that parents are using the front drive-through car park in the morning and after school to drop children off.
This is stopping the school bus and the 'Littlegates' mini-bus from being able to access the premises and they are unable to feely move in and out. It is also causing danger to pupils who are getting out of cars and heading in to school while there are other moving vehicles in this area.
I have been advised by many community members that this has been a considerable problem in the past, so it is a timely reminder that parents should not be pulling in to this front car park to drop children off and we would like to politely remind parents who are doing this to kindly stop.
Many thanks for your attention in this matter,
Mrs R King
