Northumberland 2017

Today we went to Edinburgh Zoo, it rained.

First of all, it felt a bit gloomy because it was so wet and cold, but very quickly, after seeing some of the amazing animals, our disappointment soon turned to joy. Who can be sad when you are part of a penguin parade????

We saw tigers, lions, rhino, pygmy hippos, apes and monkeys - too many to even name. so wonderful.  Pictures to follow!!!!!

So, Alnwick Castle today where we learned to ride a broomstick and toured the castle. This afternoon was Dunstanborough Castle and Embleton Beach!!! What an afternoon. Plus - chocolate fudge cake for tea.
