Governance Structure

Governance Structure 1

In addition to the agreements made on conversion with the Government's Education and Skills Funding Agency, Lincolnshire County Council (as the Local Authority) and the Diocese of Lincoln, the Academy is controlled by groups of people defined below:

Members

The Academy has a group of Members that were originally responsible for its formation and who subsequently maintain its existance as an organisation.  They are responsible for maintaining  a Board of Trustees that oversee the general operation of the Academy.

Trustees

The Trustees are elected to maintain the Academy as a charitable company limited by guarantee, but also have the position  of Director in the terms of the Academy's registration at Companies House.  The Academy generally uses the term of School Governor to include both positions of Trustee and Director (except where these need to be explicitly stated).
