Dear Parents and Carers,
As you know, our children have to undertake certain assessments at different stages of their school life. These results get published by the Department for Education and are a yardstick by which one aspect of our school is measured.
Our Key Stage 1 tests were exceptionally good with 85% of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading and writing and 91% in maths. Well done to all of our pupils and the staff in KS1 for all of their hard work in 2017-18, we are confident that our children have had a fantastic grounding ready for further success as they move to KS2.
In Year 6, 85% of our children achieved expected standards in reading, 85% in writing and 85% in maths. Overall 75% of pupils achieved EXS in all three subjects reading/writing/maths. This is well above national. Well done to all our staff and pupils - we wish all of our Y6 the very best as they move to the next steps of their journey.
